The past two weeks have taken me to Korea and southern China. Heavy rain and flooding in southern China have led to the evacuation of 1.3 million people. Like the USA, China is having their share of weather related issues.
Headed to Europe on Monday morning. This two week trip takes me to Finland, Austria, Hungary and Romania.
Special friends dropped by the apartment yesterday afternoon for a quick visit. Their teaching assignment in China ended this week and they are now headed back to the USA. Amazing how quickly some friendships develop, special bond in this one. We will very much miss Mark and Lavern, but know certain that our paths will cross again!
Bec has been a little under the weather this past week, respiratory issues. Smog levels have been very bad and she spent too much time out in it. She appears to be doing better now!?!?
Not much else to report, 50 days and counting until Allan comes for the Olympics! Looking forward to that for sure.mike
